Poetry is built in community.
The Caracol International Poetry Festival is an international gathering that, for 20 consecutive years, has brought together voices, projects, and cultural platforms to share readings, editorial presentations, and activities that strengthen the dialogue between creators, audiences, and independent spaces.
As the final route of this edition, the festival arrives in Playas de Rosarito with the presentation of the book Bronce dorado by Maricela Guerrero, marking the end of a cycle. This event culminates the 2026 programming and represents the final endeavor of the Caracol Festival in its traditional format, prior to a transformation and change of structure.
The closing day will feature the participation of Mario Alonso López, Sonia Gutiérrez, Olivia Oropeza, Guadalupe Ángeles, Iván García Mora, Laura L. Hoffman, Radio San Ysidro, and Susana Bautista Cruz, gathering voices and projects that have accompanied the festival’s spirit throughout the years.
