Sea of Giants
For thousands of years the gray whale has been a faithful visitor of the Baja California peninsula, looking for warmer waters to pass the winter season. Their presence gives Baja Californian's a sense of pride because the gray whale is internationally known as a Mexican whale. Don't miss out on a up-close encounter opportunity with these majestic creatures between the months of December thru April on the Baja coastline, where the next generation of gray whales are born every year.
This takes amazing experience place in the open sea, on the outskirts of Bahía de Todos Santos (Ensenada).
Federal regulations don’t allow boats to come any closer than 80 meters to the animal. You’ll see other species along the way, like: sea lions, dolphins, albatross, pelicans, etc. A guide aboard the ship will talk to you about the biological and ecological aspects and the ride takes around 4 hours.
