Has Information Booths Memorial
Day Weekend
ROSARITO
BEACH---The city’s Convention
& Visitors Bureau will offer
visitors assistance at two
information booths starting this
Memorial Day weekend as part of
ongoing extensive efforts to help
visitors have a more enjoyable stay.
One
booth will be on the main downtown
street, Boulevard Benito Juarez, in
front of
Oceana
Plaza
and the ConVis office. The other
will be in the famed
Puerto
Nuevo
Lobster
Village
, several miles south of downtown.
Hours for each are 10 to 6 on
Saturday and 10 to 4 on Sunday
“Memorial
Day is the start of our busiest
season in Rosarito, which hosts more
than a million visitors a year,”
said Rosarito Convention &
Visitoors Bureau President Laura
Wong. “We want to be sure that
they get all the information and
assistance they need.”
The
booths will be staffed by a
representative of the Convention
& Visitors Bureau
plus a volunteer greeter from
Rosarito’s 14,000-member
expatriate community. The successful
greeter program started last year.
Information
booths will be available throughout
the summer. In addition Rosarito has
started a special Tourist Police
Force and an ombudsman’s office to
assist visitors with any problems.
Further information is available by
calling Marco at the ConVis office,
